STA Programs
Summit Technology Academy (STA) is a magnet school within the Lee's Summit R-7 School District, located in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Summit Technology Academy offers career-focused program for high school students that connects classroom learning with real-world, hands-on experience in fields like technology, engineering, health sciences, business, and digital media. Students attend half-day classes at a shared professional campus where instruction is aligned with industry standards and college-level coursework. The program emphasizes applied learning through projects, internships, and collaboration with local businesses and industry partners, helping students explore and prepare for future career paths.

The International Business & Project Management program prepares students for careers in global business, entrepreneurship, and project leadership.International Business & Project Management explores how organizations operate across global markets and how projects are planned, managed, and completed. Students learn core business concepts such as economics, marketing, and finance while also studying project management methods used in real industries. The course emphasizes planning, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication through hands-on projects. Students gain experience applying business strategies to international and real-world scenarios.
